Situated largely on the Caribbean Plate, the region has more than 700 islands, islets, reefs and cays. Located south of the US and East of Central America, It is home to some of the most beautiful tropical islands on the planet. The wildlife alone is enough to peak anyones interest in exploring this region not to mention the incredible culture for food, music, dance and celebration. The region was colonized by Europe which has created a mixture of different dialects that vary from country to country. Perfect for free-diving, scuba diving, fishing or just to catch a tan and relax on some of the most breath taking beaches in the world. The Cayman Islands have stolen my heart and become a second home to me.
